The modular clamping system opti-fix has been developed especially for optical coordinate measuring systems. "Mitutoyo opti-fix" guarantees safe part fixture during measurement consequently, ensures a permanent error-free transfer of measured values. This functional configuration makes also series measurements considerably easier. In order to reduce disturbing reflections of lighting systems and ambient light to a minimum, all important construction elements are anodized in flat-black or matte finished. Furthermore, the spring clips and centering pins of different design which are integrated in the system allow also tactile measuring. Mitutoyo opti-fix offers the user a large number of possibilities for part fixing, from clamping tweezers for miniature test specimens to precision vice for large parts.
